Stationary Ticket vending machine

The DUALIS 2000 S

The stationary ticket vending machine has been developed for the requirements for outdoor installation at rail stations and stops. Due to constructive and other technical measures it has a higher protection against vandalism. As well as the DUALIS 2000 TSI, the new DUALIS 2000 S  is TSI-PRM – compatible (EU norm) and meet this European TSI PRM standard

Clearly arranged operating elements and modern functionalities enable customers to find their correct ticket easily. The brightly lit 15” touch display is slightly protruding and tilted backwards for optimized readability. An additional information displace can be installed to show further passenger information. Braille characters on all operating elements and a “four-corner menu” help visually impaired customers to purchase tickets.

Coins, banknotes and debit or credit cards can be used for payment. The banknote recycler used does not only take banknotes as a means of payment, but also returns back banknotes as change. A barcode scanner allows now innovative functions, such as the quick purchase of supplementary tickets. Furthermore, the automatic machine is ready for electronic ticketing.

Just like all other ICA products, the DUALIS 2000 S  is based on a modular concept, so that individual components can also be retrofitted at a later date when needed. Thanks to the smart power management concept used by ICA   the energy consumption of the DUALIS 2000  S is 50 % less than that of comparable ticket machines and the CO2 emissions are reduced.
